Mina Nez was raised among the ranks of the Sons of the Last Flesh. A young activated psiot, she was forced to use her powers to enhance the members of the cult. Among them, was young Lucy, a sick child that the leader, Friday, a machine-modified woman, asked Mina to heal. They were interrupted by the arrival of Bloodshot, then controlled by Project Rising Spirit, who was tasked with retriving the young psiot, under the illusion that he was rescuing an old friend.
P.R.S. would then sell Mina to Black Bar, a paramilitary group that would train her for several years to become their ultimate weapon. She became trusted enough to accompany General Grayle to a meeting of political chiefs of staff, to discuss the potential dangers of Bloodshot and raise founds to his capture.
Bloodshot managed to escape from capture and was taken in by the Burned, an organization of former spies, scientists, operatives and hackers from around the world, working together to take on personal missions.
Mina finally met Bloodshot again at the Scare-Con in Miami. He was on a rescue mission, to free himself of the guilt of delivering Mina to P.R.S. They ended up teaming up against the Sons of the Last Flesh, who resurfaced to recover Mina (and her powers) and helping Lucy, now turned into a bat-like creature, to escape them.
After the Burned betrayed him, Mina took Bloodshot to one of the Black Bar containing facilities, thus starting a tentative alliance between Bloodshot and the organization. Eventually, Bloodshot took down the Burned.
At some point, Eidolon started working for G.A.T.E. She soon became General Capshaw's right hand, handling mostly research, since she's not yet trusted to work on the field.
Bloodshot has compared her genetic-controlling powers to the levels of Livewire's technopaty or the savagery of Immortal Enemy.
OTHER DETAILS: She's a huge horror fan, choosing to spend her—heavily controlled but mandatory by the Black Bar—holidays at the Scare-Con in Miami, looking for posters of her favorite movies and checking out the funhouse.
